A/P Walid received his PhD under a Joint Degree Program between National University of Singapore (NUS) and King’s College, London. His work focuses on state-Islam relations, and political parties and elections, with particular focus on events in Singapore and Malaysia.
As an educator, A/P Walid has been active in promoting political awareness amongst the youth and his students by leveraging on trending social media platforms like Instagram Live.
