Peggie pursued her tertiary education in Canada and returned with an MBA from the University of Windsor, Ontario. Most of her post-graduate career was with the Housing & Development Board.
With a passion to serve, Peggie had dedicated much effort, time and personal resources to more than 30 years of community service, holding key grassroots positions. In recognition of her contributions, she was conferred the Public Service Medal (PBM) and Public Service Star (BBM), by the President of the Republic of Singapore, in conjunction with National Day 1996 and 2006 respectively.
Having helped set up the Progress Singapore Party, Peggie is now serving her third term in the Central Executive Committee.
