Jispal graduated from the University of London with LLB (Hons) in 1996. He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn, England as a Barrister-at-Law in 1997, and to the Rolls of Advocates and Solicitors of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1998.
Jispal has significant expertise in personal injury litigation, matrimonial law, civil and commercial litigation, landlord and tenant disputes, and bankruptcy law.
Jispal spearheaded the West Coast GRC’s Free Legal Clinic Initiative after GE2020, and is co-head of the PSP’s Free Legal Clinic.
On the personal front, Jispal is an avid scuba diver. He has held qualified Scuba Diver Instructor certifications from NUAI and CMAS since 1990. Since 2014, Jispal is the honorary legal advisor to the Singapore Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Federation.
