Background:
A’bas has over 30 years of experience in safety management, coaching, training, and advisory work.
He is responsible for inculcating incident and injury- free values and cultures at workplaces such as refineries and manufacturing plants.
As a trainer, A’bas has coached, mentored, and trained many junior trainees at work throughout his career.
A’bas previously stood for election under the Progress Singapore Party in 2020 in the Tanjong Pagar GRC team.
He has been active in the party’s grassroots work since the last election and has also served on the PSP’s Central Executive Committee since 2023, first as Deputy Organising Secretary from 2023 to 2025 and currently as Second Vice-Chairperson.
