Joseph Wong took the plunge when he answered Dr Tan Cheng Bock’s call for ‘Transparency, Independence and Accountability’ in the government of the day.
Joseph is a physiotherapist in private practice, having studied in New Zealand under the Colombo Plan scholarship offered by the Public Service Commission.
For years, he addressed patients’ physical needs, but always felt the tug of improving the lot for Singaporeans – as he saw many issues go wanting due to lapses in governance. This was what led him to step up to serve in PSP. He hopes that others can join him in this meaningful quest.
Joseph takes fitness seriously and in his earlier years ran marathons and played badminton and then squash at a competitive level. He was also the appointed physiotherapist to the Singapore national soccer team for 7 years.
